Admissions CriteriaMount Carmel is a Catholic Voluntary Aided comprehensive school for girls within the trusteeship of the Diocese of Westminster. As a Catholic school we aim to provide a Catholic education for all our students and it is essential that this is supported by all families in the school regardless of their own faith background.
Anti-Bullying PolicyBullying of any kind is unacceptable at our College.  If bullying does occur, all students should be able to tell someone and know that incidents will be dealt with promptly.

Behaviour for Learning

Behaviour for Learning means ensuring that behaviour in our College is good so that every child can achieve their best in a happy, supportive environment.
Charging and Remissions This policy sets out the college approach to charging and remissions. In doing this our intention is to ensure transparency in setting charges and ensure all students are able to access all the provision on offer.
Diocese Complaints ProcedureIn a Catholic school, parental concerns are of particular importance. As the first educators of their children, parents have a duty to take an active interest in their school. To this end there must be the closest co-operation between parents and the teachers to whom they entrust their children to be educated.
Equality and Diversity PolicyMount Carmel Catholic College for Girls is committed to promoting equal opportunities, valuing diversity and tackling social exclusion. We aim to equip our students with an awareness of our diverse society and to appreciate the value of difference as set in our mission statement. All policy principles are within national guidelines and legislation.
Equal OpportunitiesAt Mount Carmel we actively promote an ethos where everyone, regardless of background, can achieve their best in whatever field they choose. We are a college with a diverse community and because our students work together and pray together they will take this spirit of understanding and tolerance into the community and their adult lives, building the future for us all.
